In consideration for the opportunity to participate in the Artisan Market, I, the undersigned vendor, agree to the following terms and conditions:
- Setup and Teardown:
- Vendors are responsible for setting up and tearing down their booths within the designated areas and times.
- Vehicles are permitted to drive on the driveway with access from Bay Street to unload and load their vehicles. Vehicles are not permitted on the grass.
- Vehicles must be removed from the event area promptly after unloading.
- Booth Operation:
- Vendors must operate within the allocated booth space provided.
- No amplification devices or loud music that may disrupt neighbouring vendors or event activities are permitted.
- Vendors are responsible for maintaining a neat and attractive booth appearance. Storage containers and equipment shall be confined to one’s Market space and kept out of sight.
- Electrical hook-ups, power supplies, and/or water hookups are not available.
- There will be other vendors and their employees sharing the space. Please respect their space and privacy. Vendors must be respectful of the Music in the Park concert series. This market is to enhance that event.
- All items brought onto the premises must be removed upon departure, including any waste or garbage.
- Tents and displays must be securely anchored with sandbags or other weights. Spikes or similar objects that are driven into the ground are not
- Vendors are solely responsible for the sale of their products and transactions.
- All applicable sales taxes must be collected and remitted by the Vendor.
- Insurance:
- Vendors are encouraged to carry liability insurance for their products and displays.
- The City of Orillia and it’s organizers are not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to the Vendor or their property.
- Prohibited Uses: The Vendor and/or their employees shall not, unless by mutual agreement to the contrary, engage in any of the following activities for the duration of the Artisan Market:
- Destruction of property
- Smoking: Cigarettes, cigars, marijuana, or any other smoking apparatus
including vaping is prohibited throughout the Park. This includes the
municipal parking lots.
- Drinking/intoxication
- Compliance:
- Vendors must comply with all local laws, regulations, and health codes.
- Any items deemed inappropriate or in violation of event guidelines may be asked to be removed.
- Indemnification:
- Vendors agree to indemnify and hold harmless the City of Orillia, its officials, and event organizers from any claims, liabilities, and expenses arising from participation in the event.
- Cancellation:
- In the event of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, no refunds will be issued to Vendors.
- Photo Credit for the City of Orillia: Any photos posted to social media or websites should include a tag or link to the City of Orillia including one or more of the following:

- Acknowledgment
I, the undersigned Vendor, have read and understand the terms and conditions outlined in this Vendor Waiver Agreement. I agree to comply with all rules and regulations set forth by the City of Orillia and its organizers. I acknowledge that participation in this event may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, property damage, theft, or other unforeseen incidents.
I assume any and all risks, and hereby release and discharge the City of Orillia, its officials, employees, and volunteers from any liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury that may occur in relation to the artisan market.
By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read and understand this waiver and
release of liability, and I voluntarily agree to its terms.
